  • What you will learn

    PLEASE NOTE: that this course was produced using Houdini 16.5. In this course, Instructor Joel Bradley will walk you through the use of Houdini 16.5's default UV Mapping tools, along with a few extras that can be installed, these being SideFX 'Game Development Toolkit'.

  • Software applications used

    Although this course was recorded using version 16.5 of Houdini, most of what is presented here will be applicable for version 16 as well. Indeed, along with the 'Full' and 'Indie' versions of Houdini 16.5, the Exercise Files available with this course can even be opened in the FREE (for non commercial use) Apprentice version as well.

  • Downloadable Scene Files

    Be sure to download the 'Exercise Files' zip package that comes with this 'Standard' format course from The Pixel Academy. Though you can of course just as easily follow along using assets of your own if you would prefer.

  • Video Format

    All of the videos for this course were recorded at a full HD resolution of 1920x1080 and can be viewed in that format on playback. If you have limited internet bandwidth however, then you may wish to set the course to use a resolution of 720 or maybe even 480p in order to enjoy a smooth viewing experience.

  • Running Time

    The current course running time is 1 hour 20 minutes.
